Obama Sends Man Linked With Terror Group AND George Soros to Deal With Egypt/Syria
Government piece by Warner Todd Huston (11/11/08)
Israel are on fire(1) with talk that Barack Obama has just sent a supporter of the terror group Hamas as his envoy to Syria and Egypt to relay news of his policies to come. Last September Israel’s suspicions were heated up about “former” Obama advisor Robert Malley being sent to Syria with a George Soros funded group. It was then claimed by Egyptian sources that Malley was still working as an advance man for Obama which angered Israelis because six months earlier Malley announced that he had held “regular meetings” with Hamas. At that time, Malley’s comment caused the Obama camp to hurriedly distance the candidate from any connection with Malley. But, with the election over, it seems that Obama’s claims that Malley didn’t ‘really’ work for him are not quite true. It also seems that we already have the very first example of Obama sticking his finger in the eye of our allies in Israel. Naturally, the U.S. press is not reporting this news.
Obama Ready to “Rule” and End Opposing Views
Big Brother piece by Sher Zieve (11/11/08)
Surprisingly, more truth-about-Obama came out on NBC’s Tom Brokaw-hosted Meet the Press, last Sunday. NBC - both news and entertainment - has admitted it and its far-Left affiliate MSNBC were and still are ‘in the bag’ for Obama. Its faux news stories were geared toward placing Obama and Biden in the most favorable light possible, while vilifying John McCain and Sarah Palin. NBC has been - correctly - called the “New Obama Channel.” That is why it’s so astonishing that the comments of his Transition Team co-chair Valerie Jarrett were remarkable. She told the truth! Note: After the denigration and intense state-sponsored investigation of Joe the Plumber for asking a question that “caused” Barack Obama to tell the truth about his Marxist “spread the wealth” intentions, one has to wonder if Tom Brokaw will face any reprisals.

The “Near-Virtual Reality” of Man-Made Global Warming
Global Warming piece by Dennis T. Avery (11/10/08)
“As Barack Obama shifts from a waking dream to the real world, he faces the near-virtual reality of climate change. He has to move decisively.” (Ian McEwan, “A New Dawn,” Wall Street Journal, Nov. 8/9.)
‘Remember How Whites Were Too Racist to Vote Obama?’
MSM piece by Warner Todd Huston (11/10/08)
On November 5, the Associated Press put out a story on how the so-called Bradley Effect theory is now finished(1). You’ll remember the Bradley Effect as the effect that was sure to defeat Barack Obama because all whites are secretly racists and, therefore, wouldn’t have voted for the man when it came time. You’ll also remember that just about every wire service and every paper was filled with discussion about all those hick, racist whites and every TV tongue was wagging about it. But, now that this mythic theory has been proven a bust, will the Old Media say much to correct the record?
In Defeat, Republicans Opting for Insanity
Republicrats piece by Chuck Muth (11/10/08)
The well-known definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different outcome. House Republicans appear to be insane.
America Has Jumped the Shark
Politics piece by Sher Zieve (11/10/08)
With the election of Barack Hussein Obama to the presidency of the United States of America, the country has - officially - jumped the shark. Sorry, folks, but it will not return - in reruns or in any other recognizable way. In jumping the shark, Obama adherents and its faux “leaders” have announced that freedom and liberty have lost their appeal and that it’s time for some good ol’ fashioned tyranny. Apparently, a goodly portion of the permanently dumbed-down population - both legal and illegal - has decided that it’s time to give Marxist oppression a try.

The Blind Leading The Greedy
Elections piece by J. J. Jackson (11/8/08)
When you look at the 2008 Presidential Election, American was screwed either way and no matter who won. That is exactly why I neither supported nor voted for either of the two major candidates. I refused to play a game where we either elected a man in John McCain, who while at times talks a good game, really has embraced the socialism that has infected America or we elected a man in Barack Obama who does not think that socialism goes far enough and has talked extensively about full blown Marxism. Although listening to your typical newscast you would not know of the later.

Obama’s Praetorian Guard Or Another “SS”
PoliceState piece by J. D. Longstreet (11/7/08)
The Praetorian Guard was a special force of household troops used by Roman Emperors. Augustus saw the need to establish a troop of soldiers loyal only to him. After Sejanus’ death the Guards became ambitious and began a deadly power play in the Empire. They assassinated emperors, bullied their own Prefects, and eventually turned on the people of Rome. In 41 Caligula was killed by a group composed of members of the senatorial class and men from the Praetorian Guard. Afterwards, the Praetorians placed Claudius on the throne, and dared the Senate to do anything about it.
Obama’s Great win? Not so Great, Really
Elections piece by Warner Todd Huston (11/7/08)
The near orgasmic reaction in the media to Barack Obama’s win on Election-day is universal. His is being hailed as a mandate, a game changing win, a landslide. But, in reality, Obama’s “wind” was not as “righteous” as he thought, it was not a landslide at all. In fact, Obama’s isn’t as strong a win as Ronald Reagan’s or Nixon’s and it didn’t bring the mandate for Obama that the media is attempting to claim it did. Neither did Obama bring overwhelming numbers to the polls as everyone imagined, for that matter. In the end, the complete realignment for the Democrats did not occur. All Obama’s win revealed is that the American electorate is still closely divided and it also that the GOP has one more chance to make a come back.
A time for purging
Republicrats piece by Robert E. Meyer (11/7/08)
On election night, just after Barack Obama was declared the President-elect, Fox News interviewed Wisconsin Congressman Paul Ryan, who is thought to be a rising star within the ranks of the GOP. With a facial expression which telegraphed resignation, Ryan offered a synopsis of the Republican party’s problems, and a sense of resolution, that eerily mirrored a speech given by Ronald Reagan on March 1st, 1975, entitled, “Let them go their way.” More than anything else, Ryan expressed the idea that too many Republican’s had been afraid to stand on conservative principles, and it was time for that practice to end, and it is time for that sort of politician to go.
Turning Bush-McCain’s Lemon into Lemonade
Republicrats piece by Chuck Muth (11/7/08)
In a radio interview on Dave Berns’ “State of Nevada” program on KNPR out of Las Vegas yesterday, I said it was actually a great day for conservatives. Not Republicans. Conservatives. To which my friend and political pundit Jon Ralston responded that I must be in denial and hung over from crying in my beer election night. But I was, and am, dead serious. Let me explain. . . .
Government School Teachers Abusing Our Children For Obama
Edukshun piece by Dave Gibson (11/7/08)
A video clip from a Finnish documentary has recently come to light, in which an American public school teacher can be seen spewing left-wing propaganda and attacking one of her students over her support for John McCain. The teacher in question, is directing her rage against her 5th grade class.

Obama Says will Bankrupt Companies that Disagree With Him
Elections piece by Sher Zieve (11/3/08)
In yet another shocking Obama statement, one of many that his faithful followers continue to ignore, earlier this year Obama told a San Francisco Chronicle interviewer that he will bankrupt technologies (especially the coal industry) that do not follow his dictates and tow his line to the letter. Obama said: “So, if somebody wants to build a coal plant, they can - it’s just that it [meaning “I”] will bankrupt them, because they are going to be charged a huge sum for all that greenhouse gas that’s being emitted.” But he did not limit himself to merely the coal industry when he further stated: “That will create a market in which whatever technologies are out there that are being presented, whatever power plants that are being built, that they would have to meet the rigors of that market and the ratcheted down caps that are being placed, imposed every year!” It is not a stretch to extrapolate from this that he will do the same to any other industry that opposes his programs and ideology
‘After America. . . Who Will Lead The World?’
Elections piece by J. D. Longstreet (11/3/08)
November 4th, 2008, will likely go down in the history books as the day America gave up her world leadership role and became another “has been” nation.
Treason From Within
Elections piece by Geoff Metcalf (11/3/08)
“A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within…For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation…he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear. The traitor is the plague.” --Cicero
America at the Tipping Point
Elections piece by Alan Caruba (11/3/08)
By Wednesday morning it is quite possible that the United States turn dramatically towards socialism in the conduct of its economy, its politics, and its culture. If Barack Obama is elected President a collectivist, failed system will be expanded. I anticipate a very ugly struggle to regain the gift of the Founding Fathers bequeathed to us.
Gun Sales Are Up . . . Americans Are Starting To Get It
Society piece by John Longenecker (11/3/08)
The Liberty Nuts, Part VI. - Americans are getting that it’s not about Guns, it never was. - No, It’s about Independence, citizen authority, and the realization that we are actually on our own. More than ever before, Americans feel their Independence is threatened like never before. 2008 was (is) a memorable year for experiencing Big Government, and for the first time, tens of millions of Americans are experiencing the very kind of forecast 80 million gun owners have warned about. Buying guns is a powerful sign that non-gun owner Americans now see this finally as it all relates to their homes and loved ones.
‘Will conspiracy theories be used to explain election results?’
Elections piece by Robert E. Meyer (11/3/08)
My call-in editorial was posted in Saturday’s edition of a local newspaper, intended as a satirical presentation of some conspiracy theories which I have heard since the last election cycle.

FBI Informant Implicates Obama Associate in Murder
Terrorism piece by Cliff Kincaid (11/2/08)
Larry Grathwohl, a former FBI informant in the Weather Underground, tells Accuracy in Media that he was contacted by law enforcement authorities about five or six years ago about bringing a murder case against Weather Underground communist terrorist Bernardine Dohrn for her reported involvement in the 1970 death of a young San Francisco police officer, Brian V. McDonnell.
Obama Says Not Being a Communist is Selfish
Socialism piece by Sher Zieve (11/2/08)
During the waning days of the US presidential campaign, Barack Obama is feeling confident enough of his chances that he - at a recent rally - didn’t dispute his being a Socialist. Obama was even a member of the New Democratic Socialist Party in the 1990s. Perhaps he will at some point even admit that his true intention for the USA is Soviet-style Communism. That, of course, will be after he is elected POTUS - largely due to his voter fraud strategic unit ACORN - and when it is too late for the all-too-many gullible American people to do anything about it.
There will be no one left to protect you
PoliceState piece by Alan Caruba (11/2/08)
Barack Obama wants to institute a Civilian National Security Force, a vast militia not unlike Iran’s Revolutionary Guard, a personal army. He knows he would need such a force to protect him and to enforce his will on Americans.
Obama’s Economic Nazism
Elections piece by Bruce Walker (11/2/08)
Barack Obama, in his recently released infamous radio interview of seven years ago, opined that America was beginning to resemble Nazism. No: Obama is wrong. What Obama himself proposes are economic policies almost identical to Nazism. The Left has refused to claim the Nazis, even though the Nazis considered themselves the mortal enemies of conservatives, the champions of “change” which would help ordinary people . . . and socialists. The historical facts show just how much of what Obama wants and what the Nazis actually did look the same.
McCain: Why We Must Elect a Non-Lawyer
Elections piece by David R. Usher (11/2/08)
The State of Florida has a very interesting Constitutional provision, one that should be expanded to include the federal level: Lawyers are not permitted to run for non-judicial offices.
Obama the Justifier
Elections piece by Selwyn Duke (11/2/08)
Election reportage is reaching a fever pitch, and one of the hottest stories concerns a recently revealed interview Barack Obama gave to Chicago Public Radio in 2001. In it, then Illinois state senator Obama talked about whether his desire to spread the wealth around might be better accomplished legislatively or through the courts and lamented that the latter hadn’t done enough to further this socialist goal.
Afghanistan Will Be Another Vietnam
Politics piece by Alan Caruba (11/2/08)
The next President of the United States of America must decide whether to withdraw our troops from Afghanistan or expand our involvement there. Having lived through the long years of the war in Vietnam, I can tell you that Afghanistan looks and smells like Vietnam. It is the classic wrong war in the wrong place.

Racist Republicans? (Why American “Liberals” are the Biggest Racists on the Planet)
Progressivism piece by Sally Bishai (11/1/08)
A person I once called friend - despite my (alleged) bookishness, her somewhat vapid nature (an act), and our severe cultural differences - just asked me which candidate I was endorsing next week. Very surprisingly, she reacted with - hmm...surprise? - when I told her “Well, it’s NOT Obama, anyway.” She sputtered and spluttered and gave a solid two-minute rant (where “solid” equals “impervious to comment,” since 1) her vocal style is as that of a foghorn, and 2) her skills at logical thinking have never really been, erm, solid) about how I’d be enabling “the most insane candidate who’s ever walked the face of the earth,” then decried me and all conservatives as racists who would keep a black man - or a Hindu, a woman, etc. - out of the White House. “You just want to preserve the patriarchy of horrible Whites! You hate minorities!!” she hissed, forgetting that I am, myself, a minority on several different levels. And then came the chanting. Oh, the chanting…
The “I’m Tired of being Called a Racist” Factor in the 2008 Election
Elections piece by Mary Mostert (11/1/08)
I think John McCain is going to win this election, unless, of course, (1) many voters stay home because they have been convinced by the media that McCain can’t win or (2) there is enough fraudulent voting to pad Obama’s numbers. I keep thinking of the man who was registered to vote 72 times with various addresses. Back in the 1940s that was called ballot-box stuffing and was not uncommon. In fact, it was quite common in political machine politics at the time.
Labor Unions: A Brood of Vipers
Progressivism piece by Thomas Brewton (11/1/08)
Labor unions make us poorer and they prolong recessions.
Distractions, Diversions and Deception
Elections piece by Marsha West (11/1/08)
It’s no big secret that many in the media are unethical and dishonest smear merchants. Americans have put up with these corrupt, insulting and, frankly, blatantly biased journalists for decades. Most people freely admit that they’re being fed partial-truths, boldfaced lies, distractions, diversions and deception by the elite media. In other words, they’re being bamboozled by a group of men and women who believe most Americans don’t have the brains of a gnat so they need clear-thinkers who are smarter, wiser and better informed to do the thinking for them.
America - Home of The Politically IgnorantPage 37 of 53 pages « First < 35 36 37 38 39 > Last »
Politics piece by Thomas D. Segel (11/1/08)
Harlingen, Texas, October31, 2008: For most of my adult life I have thought that America must rank in the top tier of politically ignorant nations. I came to this conclusion after reflecting on my own primary and secondary education and observing a public that lacks the basic knowledge of our governmental system.
