Progressives’ convenient fantasy

While it may sound like hubris, I believe that the function I perform in this space from week to week is of consequence, as are the efforts of my similarly engaged colleagues. Should we ever doubt, all we need do is observe the developments of the day and heed the responses we regularly receive. In addition to those Americans whose viewpoints we validate and reinforce, we routinely encounter those who have only recently crossed the path of enlightenment, and others who express gratification that theirs isn’t the sole voice in their particular wilderness.
It is indeed the time for all of us, regardless of the scope of our reach, to communicate our truth unrelentingly, and to as many as possible. Not all who have failed to find that aforementioned path are ideologues, and these could be considered potential allies. Full Piece
