‘Who Would Have Been A Good Winner In November 2008?’
by Malcolm T. Hedges (3/30/09)
We are currently saddled with Comrade King Obama. Things could have been different…
John McCain is a Left-leaning Republicrat. His is not a Marxist/Socialist Progressive like Comrade King Obama, so his administration would have been another Republicrat mishmash.
Mitt Romney is a smart “centrist” Republicrat and most probably would have steered the country toward a stable and non-radical status.
Hillary is a “centrist” Demercrat with minimal radical Marxist/Socialist Progressive tendencies, a Hillary Administration would have been wandering, unfocused and Left-leaning.
Huckabee is heavily influenced by his religious background and leanings, a Huckabee Administration would have been mildly Right of Center with a Republicrat flavor.
Fred Thompson is a savvy Right of Center Republicrat, a Thompson Administration would have been “in your face” with aggressive efforts to move the government in that direction.
The other players in 2008 were populists or popular for various specific issues or reasons.
If there is a Presidential election in 2012 - Palin, Romney and Thompson are solid possibilities for the Republicrats.
Hillary might stay viable for the Demercrats if she doesn’t destroy her reputation.
Comrade King Obama has so distorted the Demercrat field that the only holdout on the current scene is SOS Hillary.
The real question is the Congressional elections in November 2010, the political landscape could change significantly if the boiling Comrade King Obama backlash translates into votes.
The Obama/Demercrat Depression will be in full bloom next November, the question is how many “voters” will get the message?
