Food Industry Makes Us Overeat, Says Former FDA Chief

Food manufacturers combine sugar, salt, and fat in insidious ways that make us gobble fattening food until we reach a so-called “bliss” point, says Dr. David Kessler, former head of the FDA under presidents George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton.
“Betcha can’t eat just one” has been the slogan of one well-known food company for close to fifty years, and from Kessler’s point of view, money-hungry food companies and restaurants usually win this bet because they stack the odds in their favor. Full Piece
