We are no longer the land of the free…

Here we go again, did you know that because we will not give Obama his healthcare plan we are racist, it must be true Charlie Rangel said it was. Problem is we assuaged our guilt of any and all racism the minute Obama was elected so that old tired worn out line does not work anymore. If we disagree with the president we are unpatriotic, un-American, bigots, racist, assholes, Nazi’s and brown shirts, am I missing anything here, I am sure I am. Well guess what I really could care less what these over paid, bloated loud mouths think of me, they don’t have to like me, they can hate me but in the end they still work for me. We have lived under the white folks are racists mantra long enough and I for one am sick and tired of it.
Simply because I want to make sure that elderly people, like the one who had his finger bit off at a town hall rally because he disagreed with healthcare are not subject to mandated end of life counseling, Medicare reductions, rationing in treatment and generally abused by the government that they have been paying into their whole lives does not make me or anyone else a racist. Simply because I will be requiring that my children be excused from having to hear the president indoctrinate them on Tuesday does not mean I am a racist. Simply because I believe it is illegal for the White House to steal our information off of social networks does not make me a racist. Simply because I will not bow down to the heavy handed tactics of this president and the legislators in his control does not mean I am a racist.
That card has been played one too many times and it has no sting anymore, aggravating yes, traumatizing no. Because you see, many people have come to realize just exactly what that is. It is nothing more than a sleazy tactic they use to get what they want, kind of like when your kid says you are a mean parent. What amazes me is the amount of people who are still silent about this matter, almost as if, if they don’t talk about it, it will never happen or better yet their subconscious knows something is terribly wrong but they still cannot believe it even though it is staring them in the face. This is not a democrat problem, this is not a republican problem, this is an American problem, it affects every single person who lives in this country and it is scary as hell. At this point the president is taking liberties that he is not allowed by the constitution, appointing people to different posts as czars, attempting to indoctrinate our children, collecting information on private individuals, which is illegal and he is untouchable because he has a house leader who is just as bad as he is.
It is past time to put the campaign rhetoric away, and start really talking to each other because if we don’t, we might not be able to, you see he has now asked for power over the internet, has appointed someone to the FCC to make sure that the airwaves are airing what he wants us to hear. We may not agree on party politics, but we must agree that any president that attempts to rule our country the way this man has is wrong. We can argue when it all started later, we can banter about which president has taken the most liberties later, right now we need to focus on keeping our country free. I don’t know about you but I do not want to wake up tomorrow and find out that we are no longer the land of the free…
